Today

This morning I woke up and when I looked outside it felt like the seasons had really changed. It seemed different for some reason that I could not pin point. I guess it's because I haven't really had time to actually look out the window and really look. It is definitely fall in my town. It was like overnight all the leaves fell off the trees. Now the only green in my yard is the giant pine tree. Not even the grass is really green. It's brown from all the rain and covered by all the brown and orange leaves. It's both beautiful and depressing. But I can't wait for ski season. I'm so excited this year and I have such an itch to get out on those slopes. But with the economy in the toilet my family is going to be making less trips to the mountain this year. Sigh.
